Darwin FPV 50A 6S ESC

  • Sale
  • Regular price $23.49

There are a couple ESC's out there that are extremely low priced and just work. This is one of those. There are no frills here but you're still going to be able to get maximum performance from this board compared to any other FC out there. Of course the higher end boards do have some nicer features but if you're looking for value, this is it.

We STRONGLY recommend you use an FR series 35V 1000uf cap on this board.

You should also be aware that while these value boards have been known to be highly reliable, they are also somewhat hit or miss because they are not high end boards.

We recommend pairing this with the Darwin FPV FC Here.

Second Trial Is A Success

My first ESC blew-up after the fourth flight. FPVCycle support was amazing, per usual, and quickly sent me a replacement. The second ESC is performing well. I'm running this ESC on a Prototype 5 frame with 5" motors, and 51433 props.

Blew a mosfet arming

Flew on 6s battery with a 35v 1000uf cap. Landed after a full flight, on my soft landing spot (my hammock). Plugged in a fresh battery and when I armed a fet popped right away.

Additionally, this board does not like to take solder, use plenty of flux and higher heat to get it to stick. Then make sure you use alcohol swabs to clean it up after, (flux can conduct).

Not at all impressed and fairly disappointed.
