So yeah, this thing is REALLY tiny. We’ve used a lot of little vtx’s….this one is pretty darn impressive. If you can deal with the 5v only and don’t need a DVR, this is definitely an incredible bang for the buck with best in class features.

I have hooked the receiver to an other flight controller and it worked. Hooked it back up to the first fc, to an other UART and it still worked. I am afraid it could have been a soldering isue although I did inspect it. However it overheats pretty quick and shuts itself of if I am not flying for 20s or so. On 200mW. I didn’t even try on 400.
I could not find a way to edit and re-rate my previous review.
Apparently some of them can’t unlock and I guess I have one of them. I have set pit mode to a switch, flipped three times, saw the lights flash one by one, power cycled but with no reveal. Tried all kind of stuff and found that people with a lot more experience than me who also could not make it work. I never had issues with the Eachine Nano though and I have to wonder why that video is linked to this item. It is not the same vtx. I am sure other people have success with it, but not me unfortunately.
I’ve bought 3 of these- 2 were killed during catastrophic crashes and one is still going strong. This DVR/VTX convo is great as far as QC, and the DVR footage is awesome. The onboard mic is an added bonus. Hook up and build is easy and clean when paired with the AIO whoop board and reading the instructions- it must be unlocked before switching power modes. It cones factory locked to 25mw. Definitely a recommended “toothpick” accessory.
Great price, i replaced this with a tbs unify nano after a few weeks
So small and so lightweight! Seems to work great for the peice!
