This camera is a standalone whoop cam without the typical 25mw vtx attached to it. There are a few different whoop cameras out there, this is the higher resolution and wider FOV of the traditional whoop cameras. It’s essentially the same as the OV231 but on a smaller PCB that actually fits into the Bee Brain V2 mount. In fact it’s a little smaller than the mount so you may need to add a small dab of glue to secure it firmly.
Again, this is the traditional whoop camera in wide FOV. It has that warped lens distortion that many don’t like, but we actually prefer. It’s also a ¼” sensor camera. More recent ⅓” sensor cameras like the RunCam Nano 3 will perform a little better with light handling than this camera. Unfortunately, the Nano 3 has been temporarily discontinued for now. That’s why we picked up this camera to stock. It’s still a great little cam and very cost effective.
