GNB 4S 14.8V 1100mAh 130C LiPo Battery

This battery has been very carefully chosen to be highly versatile. Our goal is to simplify all things and eliminate options where reasonable.

The 1100mah highest C 4S battery is the right size pack for the 4” PowerPick, 3” CineSplore, 4” Fouride and suitable for the 5” Fouride. We tested all the various battery quality levels and sizes from 850-1500mah available from GNB to land on this single pack. They make some low C rated cells that have high capacity and a really attractive weight but tend to be lackluster in any kind of performance use (the 1100mah is worse than the good 850mah). They’re pretty much only good for goggles and very low energy use applications. The mid range tier cell performance is not bad but do begin to have voltage maintenance issues further along in a flight which results in altered flight performance and premature flight times. This may be a no brainer, but the highest quality, highest C rated cells are lighter and smaller than even the mid range tier while providing more consistent voltage performance as well. So this was the only viable option for us.

The capacity was also very carefully selected to provide the flight experience we’re looking for. Good flight time and good amperage/voltage performance on the given platform it’s designed for.
