Redefining The Remote Control

TBS has been at the forefront of perfecting the interface between drone and mind. The TBS Tango 2 changes how remote controls will be from here on out! Despite being the smallest remote control available, it comes with full-size HAL gimbals, full-featured FreedomTX (temporary OpenTX fork), the lowest end-to-end latency of any remote and transmission system, unbreakable 3 & 2-position switches, open-source operating system, built-in battery, USB-C charging, and so much more! It's not just a retouched game controller, it was designed from the ground up for R/C! The form factor and features make it the ideal take-anywhere, fly-anytime remote control.

Crossfire Inside

The first radio with TBS Crossfire built-in. This significantly lowers your cost, increases reliability and minimizes set up time. And the cherry on top are the LUA scripts being part of the familiar user interface. The antenna swivels out of the way or doubles as a kick-stand when resting. TBS Cloud ready to go from the start. It all just makes sense.

First 6 packs or so I hated it, ready to sell on RCG! It was so much smaller and lighter than my Nirvana that I love. But something else was up too, all of my stick movements seemed extreme. Come to find out the T2 has CRSFshot and the latency is dropped quite a bit. So totally different feel in the hands and way less latency... I ended up really taking time to setup the stick end height how I like and swapped to TBS Honey stick ends and then I dual lock my DJI goggle pack to the bottom to add weight. Last I dropped my rates down a ton(@575° on all right now) and it all came together. Give yourself at least 20+ packs really concentrating on getting the feel right. Now after over 30 packs I'm keeping it and finally selling my Nirvana and TBS Micro. I feel like the quad is wired directly to my brain and my confidence on the sticks has gone way up. As a bonus the T2 saves me some room in my bag and is easier for kids to use.

TBS TANGO 2

First impressions are that the tx feels nice in the hands. Much better than the x-lite. I was not a fan of the stiff springs that come on the remote. I swapped them out for the softer ones and like them much better. I don't like the stiff springs trying to always pull you back to center. If you buy this remote, make sure you do all of the updates on TBS Agent and wait for them to update completely. Go watch a video by Wayne from TBS. One nice feature is the form factor. I was able to get my TP3, Fatsharks, batteries and remote in a small camera bag. Really nice for traveling. Will it replace my beloved Taranis???? Only time will tell.
