NOTE:
The canopy that comes with this frame is kinda ugly and designed to be replaced. There are no readily available canopies that meet our preferences so we threw this canopy design on top to make sure at least the camera has some reasonably good protection. If something good comes around, we will offer that and likely drop the carbon canopy off these kits.  For now you’ll need to provide your own battery strap.

The PowerPick is a Toothpick-like design that’s not really a Toothpick. It has a more robust structure and the resulting craft will be way more powerful. That’s why it’s called Power Pick. Once you get up to 4” and 5”, you start entering the realm of blistering speeds and enough inertia to demolish the craft. Even we don’t feel comfortable flying something that would be super fragile under these conditions. The PowerPick is not a tank by any standard but it’s also not a super light. It’s designed to use it’s weight efficiently to withstand minor to moderate impacts, and at least offer some component protection in the form of motor bumpers. When paired with the FPVCycle 2203 motors and 3S 1100mah batteries, this thing will be one of the most nimble FPV vehicles in existence.

Some thoughts on the 250g AUW number:
There are some countries that strictly enforce the 250g AUW policy (sorry if you live in one of those) but most don’t have people walking around with scales making sure your toy is under 250g. This 250g number was taken from something a scientist may have said about a projectile during the world war II era (we think, we’re not even sure). Today this 250g number is completely arbitrary and means absolutely nothing. Just because you’re flying something that’s 249g does NOT mean you cannot cause trouble and does NOT mean you won’t get in trouble for doing something dumb. On the same note, if you’re flying something that’s 251g, it doesn’t mean you’re going to go to jail. Be safe, use good judgement and don’t piss off or annoy ANYONE! The proposed setup with our recommended motors, batteries and electronics on this frame will put it a bit over the 250g mark.  This has been designed to be light yet durable enough and above all, perform well.  We just do not understand the rationale behind sacrificing performance for the sake of this totally arbitrary 250g number that means absolutely nothing.  If you’re one of those hankering for that number, you can just run smaller/lighter motors and hit that number if you wish.

Flies like a dream.

I went with the FPVcycle 2203 motors and GF 4024 props and it made for a really fun 4s build. iFlight Beast H7, CRSF nano rx, namelessRC nano400. Going to try some tri-blades as well.

Powerpick Arms?

Are you planning on offering replacement arms for this frame? I already purchased it, but now I'm looking for the parts lol.

Good Overall Design

The overall design is good, it flies great. The things that bug me: The battery strap provisions. It is extremely difficult to get a strap in during the build because you have to have everything taken apart. There isn't enough wiggle room to route a strap through normally. My strap setup is ghetto AF and it's mostly using Ummagawd Ummagrip Lite to hold the battery in. The carbon quality isn't as nice as my Armattan frame, but that is a small nitpick. Also, the curves on the CAD drawing were done by hand or something, instead of true programmed curves, if you know what I mean, because they aren't symmetrical/even especially around the FC, so it looks kinda amateur if you look up close. Other than those details, the weight and design make for an incredible flying machine. With 1404 motors and just little 3.5" props she's a ripper!

Fast and light

The flight time is about 8min on 3S 1100mAh (10 min - only hovering)
The power is good enough - probably is might be more with 4S but I preffer 3S on this build.

Awesome 5in Frame for Whoop Boards!

Kabab's frames are top notch and the quality is great. It's nice and stiff and durable. The whoop form factor is just awesome so you should pick one up and build one so you can see what everyone is loving about these!

GREAT FRAME!

I don't care about GoPro footage, I care about flight performance in so the Tiny whoop form factor is hard to beat! It really should be the way going forward! You will love this frame setup and it flys amazing! Buy it, you won't regret it. It's a great frame that's strong as it needs to be keeping it a great weight for it's durability. I haven't broken any arms yet but at the price, might as well throw some in with your order for piece of mind!

Great frame

Frame is great, so are motors. Had the pp5 tuned great, but now the gyro will randomly quit working in flight, and ill crash, took me a while to fig it out.

I love this Build

Hey are there any replacement arms for the PP5 coming?

I've been a big fan of Bob's design philosophy for a while. My original tooth fairy frame is still kicking! I decided to experiment and managed to build a 5in sub250g 6s quad with this frame. As ridiculous as this is, the frame flies great and has been suprisingly durable.
