So far, so good! Built for my 1s baby tooth and they seem efficient and smooth. Im getting 6 1/2 min of cruising time on 450 mah. Great price, and I do think the 2mm shaft holds the props more securely.
I ordered the 22.6 mm bells in grey and I also ordered the 12x12mm mount for the base the bells came grey but the stator came white ! Now I know your thinking no biggy and really I guess I have to live with it but the kicker is I tried very hard to keep the same color theme going I even passed up a flight controller that I wanted only because the color didn't match so a bit upset about having a color mismatched drone with a crappy fc but I guess we all do it that's the down side to this hobby sometimes ! No complaints so far on the motors performance !
Swapped out my 5” arms with 2207s for 6” arms and 2208s, threw on a set of bi-blade Ethix bubblegums, and got an efficient mid-range cruiser. Currently on vacation with it and getting 8-9 minutes on a 6S 1300 mah.
This set up is a great option for the 5 inch quad. It’s not a cheap price motor by any means, but when you have the option to buy the bell and stater separately, you can always have extras. Plus one of the best motors one can buy.
I added 4 11,400kv 1S FPV Cycle motors and the Bee Brain camera mount and it flies great. I also used an AIO board with the downward facing USB connector. I just flipped it up and changed the orientation in Betaflight to match. It was easy. I flew it with some 1S lipos but have since strapped an 18650 Sony cell to it for longer flight times.
