The update:
New look, minor tweak to internal stator design, improved low end prop handling, new prop mount, less weight, screw retained bell.  These motors are compatible with the previous 2203/4.  If you mix them on the same craft with similar kv, you won't be able to tell a difference in flight performance.

We haven't used a better performing 3" cinewhoop motor than this one...

This motor is specifically designed for the following uses:

3” ducted whoop
4” anything
5” light blade and low general AUW for 5”

Matching products:
CineSplore w/ Gemfan 75mm CineWhoop prop
PowerPick 4” with Gemfan 4023 prop
PowerPick 5” with Gemfan 5125 prop
Fouride 4” with Gemfan 4023 prop
Fouride 5” with Gemfan 5125 prop
Red T-mount props are fantastic with Gemfan 4024
3000kv version is suitable for CineWhoop/CineSplore on 6S if desired

Recommended battery options:
3
S 1000-1500mah on 3450kv with CineWhoop 3”or 4” open prop
4S 1100-1300mah on 3450kv with CineWhoop 3” or 4” open prop
3S 1100-1300mah on 3450kv with 4" or 5" open prop
4S 900-1300mah on 3450kv with 4" open prop
4S 1100-1300mah on 2350kv with 5" open prop

4S 1100-1300mah on 3450kv with CineWhoop 3”
5S 1100-1300mah on 2350kv with CineWhoop 3” or 4” open prop
6S 850-1000mah on 2350kv with CineWhoop 3”

You’re welcome to run full 4S with no throttle cut on 3450kv and 5” but be warned that it will be extremely overpowered on a very light platform and a challenge to deal with the electronic noise due to the high power.  If your filters and overall electronic management is not done right, the motors have some risk of burning.  Even though these motors have super high temperature enamel coating on the winds, we are not responsible for burnt motors due to misuse.

    Best Motors Yet

I am so taken with these motors that I have built two 5 inch Fourides and a Cinesplore. All three are great performers. Despite Bob's advice, I thrash these things on a daily basis. I've been flying FPV for about a year, and I'm learning some of the more advanced moves, such as MattyFlips. They often end in high speed reversed crashes into the parking lot pavement. I have bashed these 2203 motors repeatedly until they fell apart. So I can tell exactly how much abuse they can take, and it's a lot. These motors are the most resilient motors I've used on any class quad.

I have two motors, at the moment, that have separated laminations. There's a photo of one of those motors below. This means that an impact with the motor bell, which the bell is quite hard, caused the bell to press back into the stator far enough to crush the lamination stacks. The laminations have deformed and spread out a bit. With a fresh 5125 prop on top, my quad still flies buttery smooth on those exact motors. I don't recommend it, but I am sure impressed. I've had many other motors fail with far less damage.

The power, control, and smoothness of these 2203 motors exceeds my other quads, those other quads being standard size and weight 5 inch copters. If you keep your AUW low, these 2203 3450kv motors are insane. My 5" Fouride quads are 323 grams dry and 459 grams with a 1100mah 4S GNB lipo on top. You can easily fly with a GoPro Session 5, but you get just a tiny stutter instead of an instant burst of acceleration when fighting inertia at top speed. These are definitely worth the money. 5/5 stars.

    Big blocks FTW!

Running the 3450kv variants on 3s w/ Gemfan 4023s. The throttle control and and prop wash handing is next level. Its like having a 454 on each corner. Im able to get a solid 4 minutes out of a R line 750 too so I couldn't be happier.

    Absolutely amazing

What a difference. Love that its quieter, matched with the Gemfan 5 Blade props. Motors stay nice a cool. Throttle feels great. Couldn't be anymore happier. Highly recommended for the Taycan.

    Totally worth it

Have built two cinewhoop in my 5-6 years in FPV. With the introduction of the new 3.5" class of frames I thought ltd be time to step it up since both cines previous flew badly. And after weeks of research I decided to give these a shot. Today I soldered them up to a GepRC f722 45a aio board on the Cinelog 35 frame. Will be carrying a full size GoPro on 6s. This is going to be the ideal cinewhoop of my dreams. Foxeer predator v5 micro with Rush Solo, csfr nano and a vas xfire rx antenna. Still have some things to button up before maiden flight. But will try an post it on DroneNation. If these fly anything like the 25mm imperial motors then I'll be telling everyone these are the best whoop motor ever! Not as important but these motors look amazing 😍🤩

Using these on a twin tractor wing I printed. Dope.

They are good motors in a somewhat unique size. Great for when you need a motor that keeps cool and has enough oomph to swing a bi-blade or low pitch tri-blade on a light craft, or when you need to spin the hell out of a smaller 3-3.5" prop and keep the motor cool.

I have the old version 3450kv 2204 motor on my 5" long range ultralight 3s toothfairy 2 build. They do great. They can swing the big 5" prop on the light 3s craft. Get 15+ min on a p28a 3s 18650.

The fit and finish on the new ones is beautiful. I am running the 2350kv on 4s with 5x5x2 props. Big step up in looks from the old black top white sidewall motors. Performance is basically the same.

Should be the benchmark motor for Cinewhoops

Yes..this is THE motor and truly should be the benchmark.
CIP: I built a Slammed Squirt recently, and by mass recommendation, added 1507 4#00 kv motors on 4s. It flew beautifully without a GoPro (hero9), but with one?
    Fail. Fail, fail, fail..

The new motors got very hot, one smoked..it was just too much for the little motors to handle. Perhaps if i was using a Cube type camera, or insta360/peanut, it would have been just fine.

Moving on, i did a little research and someone suggested these...i looked further into it as thought it was bold to refer these as "THE" motor on the fpvcycle site...but you know what? They are absolutely that.

I cant tell you how many flights i've had, with the full gph9, and these motors are COOL to the touch after every flight (i get about 4 min+ depending on how conservative I fly).

    Yep. . . these deserve a 5 star rating.

    Great motors.

I have a set of these 23mm short motors on a 5" Toothfairy 2 build. They survived a dumb-dumb incident that caused a 20 foot drop onto concrete. Two motors were severly bent, one enough that the rotor was binding against the stator. After I ordered two replacement motors I decided to try to straighten out the bent bells. Fortunately the shafts were both straight and I managed (with application of a surprisingly large amount of force) to straighten out the bent bells. Not quite perfect but within a thousandth or so. These motors have been flying just fine since.

These motors have plenty of power for a 310g 5" Toothfairy and have not presented any challenges to tuning. I would be happy to use these on another build.
