The intended use of this motor is specifically for improved performance on sub 250g 5” crafts compared to other current options. The motor size is 2104 which will give you a noticeable control performance improvement over the popular 2004 size while weighing about the same thanks to the new lighter shaft design which is compatible with future M3 mount props and is fully compatible with existing M5 mount props.

Great power to weight combo!

I use these to power a spinning blade in a 150g combat robot and they are very powerful and light. The 3mm threaded full-length shaft makes them very robust.

The BEST sub 250g 5" Motor

Ummagawds Aerolites and Brother Hobby TC 2004 motors used to be the kings of lightweight 5" motors, both at ~15g a piece. Both feel underpowered though, and using high KV/6s just reduces efficiency and flight time.

These are the next evolution of Sub250g 5" motors. As light as the previously mentioned 2004 offerings at ~15g per motor, but 1mm larger stator diameter provides a welcome increase in torque control and slightly more power. Enough in fact to swing a normal 5" prop like a Gemfan F3S or an Ethix PBJ.

6S 4" Dynamo!

I'm using the 21mm 2300kV motors with 6S 650mAh and 850mAh batteries and absolutely love the flight time and performance! I'm more of a park racer and every time I fly I fall in love all over again with my build. I really love these motors and on a 4" 180g quad like mine, the performance on a 6S light weight battery is very enjoyable. Bob please don't ever stop making these 21mm 2300kV motors!!!

Great motor for the Ummagawd 2Fiddy

This motor is great when paired with a 5 in sub 250 auw build. Looks great and is very responsive!

Not good for 3in apex 4s (have 2300KV)

Was recommended to try these motors for my 3in apex. Bad idea. Not enough power / Apex frame is to heavy. I am sure they would be great on a 200g quad.

Worth the money! Can't go wrong.

21’s will be my new standard for sub 250 builds.

GREAT for less than 250g quad

Sad to say I am one of those who stays in a country where there is a 250g limit. I used the motors for a Fouride build and managed to get its AUW around 250g with a 4s 450g lipo. Going to get more for my bext builds.

Imperial TieFighters

I got the 2300kv on 4s 650mah onToothfairing and 6 7 min cruise. I feel much better control and power than 2004 motors on same controller and pids. Really surprise how they sound...indeed remember me like a tie fighter
