Big fat note: These motors come with 3mm mounting screws which are ideal for mounting to 2mm frames.  If you are mounting to a 1.5mm frame, BE CAREFUL not to jam the screw into the windings.

Safe, quiet, easy, fun.
This is the allure of small light weight crafts.  We've worked extremely hard to optimize and refine the performance from the light 3" 1S and 2S platforms however these motors can be used for any multitude of small low weight crafts.

One thing to note is that this motor has a 2mm prop shaft.  We highly recommend the Gemfan 3018 for this motor which also has the 2mm press fit prop shaft.  While the motor still has T-mount screw holes, only using the 2mm press fit has been shown to actually increase thrust and improve prop response.  If you'd like to use props that are 1.5mm press fit, use a prop hole drill kit to drill a straight hole and avoid a wobbly prop that will cause vibrations.

Recommended uses:

  • 11,400kv 1S with Gemfan 3018 prop at <64g AUW
  • 11,400kv 2S with a ~1.5-2" prop (note 2mm prop shaft)

The Rationale Behind the 2mm Prop Shaft:
Previously, prop shafts meant for press fit props existed in just about every denomination from .8mm through 1.7mm. When we started flying Toothpick class quads that had lots more power/speed than typical micros, we started sheering prop shafts when using press fit props. We absolutely hate the annoyance and weight of the T mount screw mechanism so we just upped the shaft diameter to 2mm and made our new prop fit that. This 2mm shaft is not only stronger, but it also provides more gripping surface area for the prop so it’s more secure as well. Props with the 2mm center press fit hole are backwards compatible on 1.5mm and smaller shafts with the T mount screws.

Customer Service must seriously be the Battle Cry!

Life is what it is, and therefore things will go sideways at one point or another.
So...
Those of us using FPVCycle motors, Frames and products have no need to stand on the highest mountain screaming our heads off on how good these products are.
We use them, and we Know... and we buy more.

I'm in my 60's, and buying as much high tech crap as I have over the last 35 years... FPVCycle has proven to be the friendliest and has the most reliable customer service I have witness... and I don't believe it gets any better than this.

This is not about lip-service, but about finding a company I can trust blindly, who is seriously evolving it's own quality to take itself and their hobbyist forward.

To the Whole Gang at FPVCycle... "You Guys Rule"!

Nice motors, BUT.

The new 13mm motors are nice, BUT WHY ARE THE WIRES SO SHORT???? I know it says sized for the baby tooth but come on. I have to extend every wire because they are about 5mm to short to fit on my r3d shifters ion frame....

Great 1s is 3” motor

Great quality, perfect power for 1s 3” triblades. The 2mm motor shaft is robust and makes press fit a viable option.

Favorite 1S Motor

Firstly, I love the redesign of all the motors to white. Looks clean, visually pops, and easy to spot when I inevitably need to go looking for my quad.

I bought a couple sets of these to replace the motors on my babyteeth I built while these were out of stock. I don't understand why 2mm prop shafts haven't taken off with other micro motor manufacturers.

The motor wires are much longer now, too (looks to be about 20cm).

Motor Wires too short

Good motors, way better than the 1103s I used previously

But for some reason the motors come with wires that are simply too short to comfortably connect onto any whoop-style board with pads not aligned with the arm. The solution to this seems.to be to use the Flywoo nano arm LEDs as a stylish extension, but I just wish FPVcycle would just ship with longer wires or at least stock a good extension solution themselves.

Favourite 1s motor for 3inch build

Had 200 flights on these bad boys so far and by far the best motors I have used for a babytooth 1s build with 3inch 3018 bi blade props. Much improved throttle resolution and feel in the lower half of the throttle range without sacrificing the top end.

Here is a video of the flight using these, you can be the judge.

Great Micro Motor

I've been using these on my sub 100g 3 inch toothpicks. They are smooth, have great control, and are pretty efficient. Well done.
